Try it. Ask the Dad in your life, “Are you OK?”

They don’t need to be YOUR Dad. They can be your friend, your partner, your sibling, or someone’s uncle.

You don’t have to play the game of “How are you?” and “I’m fine.” Instead, ask two questions:

“Are you OK?”

(Pause for answer or shrug)

“What’s up?”
