Get The Answers You Need

Comprehensive ADHD Evaluation Tailored to Your Child’s Needs

Start with a targeted evaluation to guide you.

Get actionable insights for your child’s development with a thorough ADHD evaluation.

The evaluation process is designed to be as convenient and comfortable as possible for your family. You can choose between in-person assessment at Main Line ADHD Clinic or video conference from your home. The assessment includes clinical interviews and standardized rating scales. We gather information from multiple sources: parents, teachers, and the child when appropriate. Once complete, Dr. Zeitlin personally analyzes all data and creates a report that’s both thorough enough for school accommodations and clear enough for you to understand and act upon.

Your child is struggling now. You need answers now, not months from now.

Since COVID, pediatricians and schools have been flooded with requests for ADHD evaluations, leaving families stuck in endless waitlists or facing overwhelming costs for comprehensive neuropsychological testing. You don’t need a fifty-page report that covers everything under the sun!

You need clear answers about whether your child has ADHD and what to do about it. Our focused evaluation provides exactly that: a professional assessment, accurate diagnosis, and practical recommendations, all within two weeks of your completing the evaluation.

The current system is broken for families seeking ADHD answers. Private psychological evaluations can cost thousands and take months to schedule, often providing more information than you need or can use. School evaluations are free but can take 60 days or longer, may not actually diagnose ADHD, and often miss crucial aspects of your child’s functioning. Meanwhile, pediatricians may offer quick prescriptions without thorough assessment, or punt to specialists with year-long waitlists.

Our ADHD Evaluation strips away the unnecessary complexity while maintaining professional thoroughness.

Performed by Dr. Zeitlin, a licensed and school-certified psychologist, the evaluation uses gold-standard assessment tools to determine whether ADHD is present and, more importantly, identifies specific executive function strengths and challenges. Within two weeks of completing the evaluation, you’ll receive a comprehensive report that not only provides diagnosis but also includes tailored recommendations for both home and school. Not generic suggestions, specific strategies based on your child’s unique profile.

How It Works

Share key details

Using our proprietary intake form, privately hosted on our website, you share your greatest concerns and provide us with the details that allow us to shape your interview and hone in on the most important aspects of your child’s strengths and areas of need.

Interview

In a private, hour-long interview, we take a deeper dive into the executive function strengths and weaknesses that describe your child’s working memory, impulsivity, and their ability to regulate their behavior and emotions.

Feedback

We dedicate another hour to answer all of your questions after we share a report that combines your key details, responses on behavior rating scales, and what you shared in the diagnostic interview. If needed, we make plans for additional support like Executive Function Coaching.

What is Executive Functioning?

Executive Functioning (EF) skills help you complete tasks and monitor your progress. These skills include working memory and managing your focus. Some EF abilities are used to diagnose Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) but there are many more EF skills that help you regulate your behavior and emotions that don’t fit in this diagnosis. By conducting a needs assessment, Main Line ADHD Clinic can highlight the EF skills that your child needs to get their work done.

What if I don’t want my kid labelled?

I get it. From an opinion piece in the New York Times on 7/3/06: “parents are sick of being told that their preschool sons need occupational therapy because they can’t apply stickers with the right fine-motor finesse…. They’re sick of suggestions that their 9-year-olds have ADHD if they can’t sit still through school days from which recess has been cut, gym has been eliminated and even lunch, sometimes, has been all but eradicated to cram in more hours of test prep.

Many dads recall that when they were in school, they were restless, sometimes turbulent, sometimes aggressive, sometimes disruptive in class. When they channeled their energy into the workplace, they thrived — and they don’t want their sons pathologized … for the sake of big-size classroom control.”

My question for you: When you imagine your child growing up to be a thriving, productive adult, how do you plan to guide their journey?

As a parent, you have the power to learn more and decide what steps to take. Rather than asking a pediatrician or the school to assess your child’s needs, I can be your advocate and give you choices. A diagnosis is not my end goal; with Main Line ADHD Clinic, I am dedicated to providing you and your child the support you need.
